Shwe

Shwe was a work in development that came out of a research residency at Critical Path (NSW Dance Research Organisation) into the use of vocals, street dance and Asian performance practices.

Shwe means Gold in Burmese, and uses Burmese and Filipino sounds and words in combination with street dance, beatboxing and the use of light to create a unique auditory and visual experience for its audience.
