Fresh Flowers

out the front of a two storey apartment block. The second floor apartment has paintings of flowers and geometric shapes on top of them hanging from the balcony.

“Fresh Flowers” was a work created during the Covid lockdown in 2021 as part of a series of works curated by Dance Makers Collective. The series was about creating performances in your own community that would be covid safe and allow physical and online communities to experience performances within their neighbourhoods. Fresh Flowers, was a multi-disciplinary work combining original music, live vocals, painting and dance. The work was inspired by the flower pots that nested on the apartment balcony being brought to life.

Co-created work by Adam Warburton and Kimberly Aviso.
